Q: Is it totally magnetic? Is an adhesive piece required to adhere to either the phone or the structure from which the phone hangs....or both?
A: Yes, an adhesive piece is offered from all phones to adhere to the holder. But it also has Magsafe for some iPhones with this function.

Q: How does this holder connect to the screen?
A: There is a 3M sticker on the holder, just attach it to the screen everywhere you prefer.

Best magnetic mount

I was nervous about getting a mount that suctioned to your screen because my previous purchases with other mounts have never felt secure and have always fallen off. This mount has the sticky 3m type tape surrounding the bottom. So far this was a great purchase.

The magnet is perfect.Very glad for the purchase and was extra glad with the price. I will say even when set, it does have a bit of a swing to it instead of staying in place perfectly still but it's nothing too noticeable and does not change my overall opinion!
